Liparis bowkeri is a species of terrestrial habitat, native to Africa. It is a small-sized orchid, which prefers warm to cold weather. It has terrestrial or epiphytic habits rarely, with pseudobulbs swollen, conical for cylindrical that have 2 to 5 leaves, green, thin, lanceolate to ovate or broadly ovate, little petiolate below. It blooms in the autumn in a terminal inflorescence, erect, up to 15 cm long, with 2 to 25 flowers that turn orange with age.1
