Description

Taprobanea is a genus of flowering plants from the orchid family, Orchidaceae. There is only one known species, Taprobanea spathulata, native to India and to Sri Lanka. Vanda spathulata is a species of Liliopsida first described by Carl von Linné, and given the simplified Asian name by Spreng. Vanda spathulata belongs to the genus Vanda, and the family Orchidaceae.
