Description

Perennial herb.Often into a dense cluster,there are dozens of stalks.Feet thick,about 1 mm in diameter.Stems erect or near the ground several sections ramp up and adventitious roots and tillers;stalk hard,high 40-80 cm,1-2 mm diameter,glabrous,pale yellow,glabrous.Leaf blade smooth,margin membranous,glabrous or cilia;leaf blade ca.0.1 mm,flush,both sides villous;leaf blade 6-20 cm long,5-6 mm wide,usually straight,glabrous.Panicle inflorescences narrowly,10-18 cm long,branches short and sparsely,spindle with branches with ribs,sometimes dendled with pubescent;twin spikelets ca.1 mm and 2.5 mm,respectively;spikelets long 3.5-4.5 Mm,glabrous,often with lavender;the first wing length 2.6-3.5 mm,with 5 veins;second glume equal length or slightly shorter than spikelets,apex acuminate,with veins 5;The second flower is 2.6-3.4 mm,the upper part of the abaxially roughened,with a 0.3-1.5 mm creep tip;the second flower is 2.6-3.4 mm,Plate length 0.9-1.6 mm,about lemma 1/2;anthers purple,1.3 mm long.Flower and fruit period from September to November.
