Mniochloa pulchella is a monocotyledonous plant species of the family Poaceae , subfamily of Bambusoideae , endemic to Cuba. It is the only species of the genus Mniochloa ( monotypic genus). It is a monoecious species whose inflorescence is composed of distinct racemes, composed of either female (fertile) spikelets or male spikelets.
