The grain turanicum , eastern wheat or wheat Khorasan ( Triticum turanicum Jakubz., 1947 ) is a wheat tetraploid. The generic name for wheat Khorasan , comes from the name of the region of Iranian where it was described for the first time, in 1921 , and where even now it is cultivated.
