Description

Paederia pertomentosa is a gingerbread species described by Elmer Drew Merrill and Hui Lin Li . Paederia pertomentosa was included in the Paederia genus and the Rubiaceae family. They are commonly known as sewer vines because of the strong odours exuded when their leaves or stems are crushed or bruised.
