Description

Acer linganense is an uncommon Asian species of maple. It has been found only in eastern China (Anhui and Zhejiang). It is a small tree up to 7 meters tall, with dark gray bark. Leaves are non-compound, thin and papery, up to 6 cm wide and 6 cm across, usually with 9 lobes but occasionally only 7. Leaflets sometimes have numerous teeth along the edges.
