Description

Palaquium tenuipetiolatum is a tree in the Sapotaceae family. It grows up to 30 metres (100 ft) tall. Inflorescences bear up to three flowers. The fruits are ovoid, up to 2.5 cm (1 in) long. The specific epithet tenuipetiolatum is from the Latin meaning "thin leaf stalk", referring to the petiole. Habitat is mixed dipterocarp forests. P. tenuipetiolatum is found in Borneo and the Philippines.
