Description

Pimelea ligustrina, commonly known as tall rice-flower, is a shrub species in the family Thymelaeaceae. It is endemic to south-eastern Australia. Plants have an erect habit, growing to between 1 and 3 metres in height. Leaves are 15 to 90 mm long and 7 to 20 mm wide.The flowers are clustered in groups, the heads surrounded by 4 or 8 bracts.These are followed by green to red-brown fruit.
