Description

Humpback Frost Moss ( Prasanthus suecicus ) is a bladmossart first described by Carl Moritz Gottsche, and got its current name of Sextus Otto Lindberg. Knot frost moss is included in the genus Prasanthus and the Gymnomitriaceae family. According to the Finnish Red List, the species is closely threatened in Finland. The species is reproducingin Sweden. The habitat of the species is mountain ranges. No subspecies are listed in the Catalog of Life.
