Description

Anomodon attenuatus (German: D-n-stiges Trugzahnmoos ) is a Laubmoos species from the family Anomodontaceae . German-speaking names are Thorny Wolf's Foot or Thinness of Trugzahnmoos .Anomodon attenuatus forms moderately strong, often extensive, about 2 to 4 centimeters high, usually yellow-green to brownish-green lawns. The ascending branches are mostly strong and often branched like feathers. In addition to head-like scrotchy and one-sidedly leafed branches, there are also thin, lengthened lobes. The branch leaves, which are two millimeters long, are lanceolate to tongues from egg-shaped bases, have a short tip, and below these few coarse marginal teeth. The vigorous leaf rib ends before the leaf tip.The leaf cells are round in the upper leaf part, opaque, each have 2 to 5 papillae and are 8 to 12 -m in the middle of the leaf. The cells on the leaf base near the rib are transparent, rectangular to extended and have no papillae.Sporogones are formed very rarely. The Seta is red and 10 millimeters long, the spur capsule upright, cylindrical, slightly curved, the lid is twisted.
