Teratophyllum

Description

Teratophyllum is a genus of ferns belonging to the family Dryopteridaceae . It contains 14 species described and of these, only 9 accepted. It is distributed in the neotropics. The genus was described by Mettenius ex Kuhn and published in Annales Museum Botanicum Lugduno-Batavi 4: 296. 1870. The type species is: Teratophyllum aculeatum (Blume) Mett. ex Kuhn.
