Description

Polyphlebium exsectum is a fern of the family Hymenophyllaceae.This species has general characteristics of the genus: the rhizome,long and creeping,is about 0.1 mm in diameter,it bears abundant and dense reddish-brown hairs the slings are divided twice,up to 35 cm long and 15 cm wide;the petiole is lined with a membrane; false ribs are absent; the sore is campanulate,inserted at the base of a limb segment.
