Biosensor monitors important aspects of health Today’s Video of the Day from King Abdullah University Of Science & Technology (KAUST) describes an advanced fitness tracker that could monitor important aspects of health.
The patch, which was developed at KAUST, will make it possible to analyze sweat for measurable health indicators.
The team tested the biosensor in a wristband that was worn by volunteers riding stationary bicycles.
The researchers were able to watch lactose concentrations in sweat rise and fall, and found that changes in glucose levels could be accurately tracked in sweat as well.
