Capturing images of a lunar eclipse

01-20-2019

Today’s Video of the Day from the European Space Agency (ESA) describes how to capture the best photographs during a lunar eclipse.

ESA engineer and astrophotographer Miguel Pérez Ayúcar explains that the best moments to capture are when the moon appears to glow with red, pink, or orange colors.

On the night of Sunday, January 20, a total lunar eclipse will be visible from Europe, North and South America, and western Africa.
