Today’s Video of the Day comes from NASA and features an analysis of the record rainfall seen in Queensland, Australia between May 17 and 19, 2017.

This NASA IMERG clip estimates that up to 14.5 inches of rain fell along the Queensland coast in under three days.

The analysis was constructed by NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center using near-real time data from NASA’s Integrated Multi-satellite Retrievals for GPM (IMERG).
