01-19-2018

Today’s Video of the Day comes from the European Space Agency (ESA) and features highlights from the Copernicus Sentinel-2 satellite mission.

Originally launched in 2015, the Sentinel-2 mission consists of two identical satellites that carry high resolution multispectral instruments and provide never-before-seen views of Earth.

The mission aims to help improve agricultural practices, detect pollution in oceans and lakes, monitor forests, and help with disaster mapping.
