(Chioides catillus)
Chioides catillus is a species of Lepidoptera described by Cramer in 1779. Chioides catillus belongs to the genus Chioides, and the family Hesperiidae. Chioides is a mainly Neotropical genus of skipper butterflies in the family Hesperiidae (Eudaminae). They range from Southwestern United States to Argentina and there are several Antillean endemic species. They are robust and have hindwing "tails".
