(Microcebus ravelobensis)
The microcebo brown and golden or microcebus of Ravelobe (Microcebus ravelobensis Zimmerman et al.,1998) is a lemur of the family Cheirogaleidae,endemic of Madagascar.It is very similar in appearance to the sympatric and murine microcebo congener,compared to which it is more aggressive and has proportionally longer and thinner tail.The hair is gray-orange on the back,yellowish on the belly.Characteristic of the species is a white band that goes from the forehead to the tip of the snout.
