Description

Brauer's burrowing skink (Janetaescincus braueri ) is a species of skink in the family Scincidae. The specific name, braueri, is in honor of German zoologist August Bernhard Brauer. J. braueri is found only in the Seychelles. The natural habitats of Brauer's burrowing skink are subtropical or tropical dry forests and subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests.
