Description

Tridrepana maculosa is a moth in the family Drepanidae. It was described by Watson in 1957. It is found in the Chinese provinces of Sichuan and Yunnan. The wingspan is 38.8-46.4 mm for males and 45.6-48.2 mm for females. Adults can be distinguished from related species by the antemedial and postmedial lines of both wings, which are composed of largish dark spots. There is also a series of lunate dots are outside the postmedial line and the subterminal line is composed of dark spots between the veins. Furthermore, the pale brown patches near the lower angle of the cell on the forewing are smaller and without dark spots inside.
