Description

Compsoctena araeopis is a moth in the Eriocottidae family. It was described by Meyrick in 1926. It is found in Namibia. The wingspan is 24–26 mm. The forewings are grey closely irrorated with blackish and irregularly and suffusedly strigulated with white. The hindwings are grey, darker-speckled.
