Description

Antaeotricha bipupillata is a moth in the family Depressariidae. It was described by Edward Meyrick in 1930. It is found in Brazil. The wingspan is 17–18 mm. The forewings are fuscous on the anterior three-fourths, irregularly sprinkled or suffusedly marked white, and somewhat marked irregularly dark fuscous, the edge somewhat irregular-convex, the apical fourth white. There is an oblique black mark representing the second discal stigma, with a large black dot beneath its lower end, surrounded white. An irregular-edged grey transverse shade is found in the middle of the white area from a darker costal spot, sometimes nearly obsolete except the spot. There is also a marginal series of rather large partly confluent black dots around the apex and termen. The hindwings are grey.
