Description

Platyptilia ainonis is a moth of the family Pterophoridae. It is known from Japan (Hokkaido, Honshu), Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan. The length of the forewings is 10–12 mm. The larvae probably feed on Anaphalis margaritacea.
