Description

Neodavisia melusina is a species of snout moth in the genus Neodavisia. It is found in Texas. The length of the forewings is 4.8-5.6 mm for males and about 5.8 mm for females. The forewings are smooth scaled. The hindwings are nearly uniform dusky brown except for traces of a diffuse, whitish postmedial band near and parallel to the outer margin and, in females, a dash of orange in first anal fold just before the postmedial band.
