Antinephele achlora

Description

Antinephele achlora is a moth of the family Sphingidae. It was described by William Jacob Holland in 1892, and is found from forests from Sierra Leone to Uganda and western Kenya. The length of the forewings is 19–23 mm. The body and wings are very dark brown. The forewing has a pale band composed of three irregular more or less parallel narrow lines set close together, from the inner margin near the base to the costa. There is a small pale stigma, a broad pale band and a narrower pale band. The hindwings are uniform dark brown.
