(Churamiti maridadi)
Churamiti maridadi is a frog from the family toads (Bufonidae).The species was first scientifically described by Alan Channing and William T.Stanley in 2002.It is the only species from the monotypic genus Churamiti.Churamiti maridadi is living in parts of Africa and is endemic in Tanzania.The frog is only known from the east of this African country.Not much is known about this species discovered in 2002,only two specimens have been found at an altitude of about 1840 meters above sea level.The enlarged adhesive discs suggest that the frog likes to climb.The eggs are pigmented,indicating that there is a free swimming tadpole stage.
