Description

The four-banded butterflyfish (Chaetodon hoefleri) is a species of butterflyfish native to the tropical eastern Atlantic. They are associated with rocky substrate or sandy/ muddy bottoms. Their main diet in the wild are bottom dwelling invertebrates. They are solitary or are in pairs when mating. They can grow up to 10 inches.
