Description

The alibianche guan (Penelope albipennis Taczanowski,1878) is a bird of the family of the Cracidae,endemic to the northwest of Peru.It is considered a critically endangered species of extinction (Critically Endangered).It is a slender,black bird with nine white feathers at the ends of its wings,its blue-gray beak with its black tip.The face is bare,greyish or pink.It has a long tail,pink paws,naked and orange throat.Between 70 and 80 cm in length and weighs on average 2 kg.
