Description

The hawk gray ( Falco hypoleucos Gould,1841 ) is a bird falconiforme the family of Falconidae.This medium-sized hawk is not very common and is one of Australia's most "mysterious" birds,as it is rarely seen.This bird of prey has the upper regions almost completely gray and the lower ones white;the ends of the remiges are darker;the wax is yellow.It is 30-45 cm long,has a wingspan of 85-95 cm and weighs 350-600 g.The females are larger than the males.
