Blue-crowned motmot

Description

The motobot capoblu is about 47 cm long and weighs 150 grams.Colorful like most Coraciiforms,the plumage of this species is the same in both sexes.The head is blue with a black mask passing over the red eyes (in the subspecies M.m coherulicepsthe head is completely blue).
