Description

The Centrocercus minimus is smaller than the Centrocercus urophasianus,the males measure,in fact,from 44 to 51 centimeters,while the females range from 32 to 38 centimeters.This species has the body covered with brown and gray feathers.The Gunnison sage cocks have the upper part of the neck and the black throat separated by a white V-shaped line.This species also has a large white "collar".The feathers of the tail are white with black bands,stiff and pointed.
