Description

The Pygmy Parrot ( Micropsitta pusio ) is a species of bird in the family Psittacidae,considered the smallest parrot species in the world.Native to New Guinea,Indonesia and Papua New Guinea,it does not eat fruits,but rather from local fungi.Their habitats natural are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests.
