Saving coral reefs from sunscreen damage You probably already knew that rising ocean water temperatures have endangered coral reefs and prompted devastating coral bleaching events. But did you know that the sunscreen we use to protect our skin is also wreaking havoc on beautiful corals? Today’s Video of the Day comes from the American Chemical Society and features a look at the biodegradable bead that has been developed to soak up the dangerous sunscreen ingredients and save coral reefs.
