01-24-2020

Today’s Video of the Day from the European Space Agency features El Salvador, which is the smallest and most densely populated country in Central America.

El Salvador is located on the eastern edge of the Pacific Ring of Fire, and has 25 volcanoes.

A large volcano named San Salvador, which shares its the name with the capital city, can be seen in the right of the image.

In the top left, Lake Guija lies on the border between El Salvador and Guatemala.
