How useful are wet cooking appliances?

07-19-2018

‘s Video of the Day from the American Chemical Society series Reactions describes the various functions of kitchen appliances that rely on water for cooking.

According to the experts, the advantages of wet cooking appliances, such as slow cookers or rice cookers, depend on what they are being used to prepare. For example, a pressure cooker creates more energy and heat which cooks meat and other foods faster.
