Today’s Video of the Day from NASA describes a “new era of human spaceflight” that is set to begin this month.
American astronauts will once again be launched to the International Space Station on an American rocket from American soil as part of NASA’s Commercial Crew Program.
On May 27 at 4:32 p.m., Robert Behnken and Douglas Hurley will fly on SpaceX’s Crew Dragon spacecraft after lifting off on a Falcon 9 rocket.
This will be the final flight test for SpaceX, validating the company’s crew transportation system.
