Operation IceBridge tackles the Arctic spring
NASA’s Operation IceBridge has returned from its spring campaign measuring changes in the Greenland ice sheet and in sea ice in the Arctic Ocean.
Flying for the first time on board a borrowed NOAA P-3 aircraft, the airborne mission accomplished many of its key goals for the season, including getting measurements over some of the fastest-changing glaciers in Greenland.
