Reasonable driving saves more gas than you might think


Today’s Video of the Day comes from the Oak Ridge National Laboratory and the U.S. Department of Energy and features a look at how reasonable driving will both save you money and help the environment.

It has been known for some time now that aggressive driving will make your vehicle less gas efficient. But now, for the first time, researchers have quantified exactly how much speeding and slamming on the breaks impacts fuel economy and gas guzzling.
