04-17-2020

Today’s Video of the Day from the European Space Agency features Montevideo, the capital and largest city of Uruguay.

Montevideo is located on the southern coast of South America on the northeastern bank of the Río de la Plata. The city revolves around the Plaza de la Independencia, which was once home to a Spanish citadel.

The Rambla is promenade that stretches over 22 kilometers along Montevideo’s entire coast. The promenade is the longest continuous sidewalk in the world.
