Virtual reality could change the future of space exploration

Today’s Video of the Day from the European Space Agency (ESA) explains how virtual reality will enhance future space exploration and robotics training.

Sander Coene and members of the training division at ESA’s astronaut center in Cologne, Germany, have developed a program called Virtual Reality Options for Robotics Training Expansion (VORTEX), which will explore how robotics may be used on the lunar surface and in other projects.
