10-01-2017

Today’s Video of the Day comes from the European Space Agency’s Earth from Space series and features a look at Pilanesberg, South Africa.

Pilanesberg is the result of millions of years of geological activity and consists of several rings of hills with a diameter of 25 kilometers. The region also contains a protected game reserve that is home to the many exotic species including lions, elephants, cape buffalo, rhinoceroses, cheetahs, and giraffes.
