New Sentinel 5-P satellite to monitor air quality from space

Today’s Video of the Day comes from the European Space Agency and features a look at the new Sentinel 5-P satellite that will monitor air quality on Earth.

Set for launch on October 13, 2017, Sentinel 5-P will be the latest addition to the Copernicus program, a joint venture between the European Space Agency and the European Commission. Sentinel 5-P will mark the first atmospheric chemistry mission within the program.
