Medionidus walkeri is a species of freshwater mussel, an aquatic bivalve mollusk in the family Unionidae, the river mussels. This species is endemic to the United States.The Suwannee moccasinshell is Range: a freshwater mussel endemic to the Suwannee River Basin in Florida and Georgia. Its historical range includes the lower and middle Suwannee River mainstem, the Santa Fe River sub-basin, and the lower reach of the Withlacoochee River.
