“A slap in the face”

Shane Doyle is a researcher from Montana State University who belongs to the Crow tribe. Speaking to Smithsonian, he attempted to address the extraordinary injustice inflicted upon the indigenous populations of Yellowstone. He said, “The park is a slap in the face to Native [American] people.
